Welcome to Macmust’s new apps introduction column. Here, we will introduce to you the latest and excellent Mac App. We also hope that you can share with us in the comment section the applications that you are interested in or enjoy using. Here are this week’s recommended new apps. The recommended apps will mainly be free apps.
1.Octarine – Take notes, tasks, and organize your thoughts.
Octarine is a private and local-by-default, markdown-based note-taking app with a focus on speed, simplicity, and ownership.
Octarine is currently free and can be downloaded from the official website.
2.Navicat Premium Lite – all-in-one database admin and migration tool.
Navicat Premium Lite is a compact version of Navicat, packed with the core features needed for basic database operations. It allows you to simultaneously connect to a variety of database platforms, including MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, SQLite, and MongoDB, all from a single application. Navicat Premium Lite offers a streamlined database management experience, making it a practical choice for users.
Navicat Premium Lite is completely free and retains the basic operations of Find, Add, Delete Modify and Import/Export of databases, which can fully satisfy the needs of most common users.
3.Scroll Reverser – a Mac app that reverses the direction of scrolling
Scroll Reverser is a Mac app that reverses the direction of scrolling, with independent settings for trackpads and mice (including Magic Mouse).
For wheel mouse users, Scroll Reverser also incorporates a step size control, which disables scroll acceleration and instead scrolls a fixed number of lines with each step of the wheel.
Scroll Reverser is free and open source on Github.
4.Velja – Browser picker
Velja lets you to open links in specific browser or browser profile, switch between browsers effortlessly, and directly launch desktop apps for specific websites, like opening Zoom links in the Zoom app. It enhances privacy by stripping tracking parameters from URLs and allows for the creation of advanced rules, such as opening links from certain apps in a specific browser.
Velja is free and published in the Mac App Store.
5.BatteryBoi – A Battery Indicator to Rule Them All
BatteryBoi is a replacement Battery Indicator for the MacOS Menu Bar.
The battery icon really needed an indicator for how much time is left in terms of minutes and hours.
BatteryBoi open source released on Github.
