Welcome to MacMust’s new apps introduction column. Here, we will introduce to you the latest and excellent Mac App. We also hope that you can share with us in the comment section the applications that you are interested in or enjoy using. Here are this week’s recommended new apps. The recommended apps will mainly be free apps.
1.App Eraser : macOS App Removal Tool
App Eraser helps remove unwanted macOS applications and any related files that they leave behind.
App Eraser is released for free on Github. If you are interested in this type of software, you can also check out the equally free AppCleaner.
2.Orion Browser : Lightweight, natively built with WebKit.
Orion is a free, lightning-fast, privacy-protecting browser for Apple users, open to the web and all its standards and protocols.
The browser is definitely the most commonly used software tool for everyone. In this fiercely competitive field, there are not only powerful browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, but also innovative newcomers like Arc. Compared to them, the only feeling that Orion gives me is restraint in protecting privacy.
3.Omnivore : A read-it-later app.
Omnivore is a complete, open source read-it-later solution for people who love to read.
Save interesting articles, newsletter subscriptions, and documents and read them later — focused and distraction free. Add notes and highlights. Organize your reading list the way you want and sync it across all your devices.
Compared to other read-it-later apps on the market, Omnivore’s characteristic is that it is free and open-source. They have developed a web app, Mac app, browser extensions, and mobile apps, all of which are free and open-source.
4. Mos : Allow your mouse wheel to scroll smoothly.
Mos is a lightweight tool that is used to make scrolling smoother and allows you to set the scroll direction independently for your mouse on macOS.
Mos open source was released on Github. Strictly speaking, this is not a very new application, with the last update being in October 2022. But it is a very useful little tool, and I recommend it to everyone.
